Two women turn a phone around for a selfie with a falcon. Down on the sand, a couple kicks up the water between the rocks, and she's laughing at him over her shoulder. Laguna does both, and I love working in both.


I photograph events, personal branding, couples and families in Laguna Beach, and across the rest of Orange County.


Events and Galas

I photographed Wings & Waves, the biggest fundraising night of the year for the Orange County Bird of Prey Center, at The Ranch at Laguna Beach. Great horned owls and hawks worked the terrace on handlers' gloves while guests tried to remember how to act normal. Two friends slapped a high five under the projector screen. Paddle 101 went up and the room went with it.


I also covered a masquerade for a local artist's shop, her first anniversary and her birthday on the same night, with a live band playing four hours. If you have a gala, a fundraiser, a company party or a private party in Laguna Beach, here's how I cover events.


Couples and Families on the Sand

Laguna has character: rocks, coves, cliffs and houses hanging off the hills. A couple can get lost in those rocks for an hour. The sun goes down over the water, so I plan everything around that last stretch of light.

Where do sessions take place?

Most sessions and events happen across Orange County, including Newport Beach, Laguna Beach, Dana Point, San Clemente, Huntington Beach and Irvine: your venue, your office, a favorite outdoor spot, or your gala's location. We'll figure out what fits.


Do you photograph couples in Laguna Beach?

Yes. I keep going back to two spots in Heisler Park, and I like to start about an hour before sunset.


When will I receive my photos?

High-resolution images are delivered in a private online gallery within 2 weeks of your session or event. Need them sooner for an event? Rush service is available. Ask for a quote.


How many photos will I receive?

You can expect 70+ edited images for every hour of shooting time, delivered in both color and black and white.
