Thank you so much for booking your session with me! I’m absolutely thrilled to be capturing this special time for you. My approach is relaxed, fun, and focused on capturing the genuine connection you share. During our time together, you can expect laughter, cuddles, and plenty of natural movement. This guide has everything you need to know to feel prepared, confident, and excited for the day.

Logistics


Location & Time of Day


We'll be finalizing the perfect location and exact time for your session together. I schedule most sessions during the "golden hour"—the hour or so after sunrise or before sunset. This time of day offers the most beautiful, soft, and flattering light, which helps create that magical, dreamy look in your photos. We'll choose a spot that complements your family's style and personality.

What To Expect


Arrival & Timing

To ensure a relaxed start, please plan to arrive 10-15 minutes early. This gives you a buffer to park, get everyone settled, and meet at our spot without feeling rushed. Family sessions typically last between 45-60 minutes.


What to Bring

A blanket can be a wonderful prop for sitting poses (I'll bring one too!). For little ones, having a water bottle and some non-messy snacks (like puffs or fruit snacks) in a nearby bag is always a great idea. If your child has a special lovey or comfort item, I encourage you to bring it along—it's part of your story!


The Experience: Connection Over Perfection

My main goal is to capture your family's authentic bond. Whether your kids are full of energy or a bit shy, it's all welcome! I'll gently guide and prompt you into natural interactions. Your only job is to enjoy this time with your loved ones. I'll take care of the rest, so you can focus on making memories.
