Aside from having a fun, laid back session with your loved ones, you will get a gallery with all the images, edited with care. You won't have to worry about selecting your favorite images, because I deliver them all, resulting in a gallery of timeless images that your family will enjoy time and time again.

My Philosophy is Connection Over Perfection.
My job isn’t to create a perfect, polished scene; it's to find the beautiful story that is already there. With the spontaneous eye of a street photographer, I’m constantly watching for the moments you don’t think anyone sees.
It might be the way your partner brushes the hair from your face or a quiet, knowing glance while the kids run wild. These aren't perfect moments. They’re real. And I believe those are the moments that matter most, because years from now, you won't just remember what you looked like—you'll remember the story of who you were, together.
How many pictures will I receive?
It depends on the type of session you book, but to give you an idea, you can expect something around 50 edited images per every hour of shooting time.
What should we wear?
Upon booking, you'll receive my exclusive styling guide! The short answer is to think "coordinated, not matching."
Choose a color palette of 2-3 colors and mix them with neutrals. The most important thing is to feel good, comfortable and like yourselves!
What if my kids don't cooperate?
Please don't worry! As a father myself, I understand that kids have their own energy.
My sessions are built around play and connection, not perfect behavior. We will embrace the joyful chaos and capture authentic moments.
Where will our sessions take place?
I have a list of favorite hidden gems around Newport Beach and Orange County that offer beautiful light and scenery.
We'll work together to choose a location that feels perfect for your family's story.
Do you Photoshop the images?
All the images I deliver are purposely retouched to enhance what's already there. I may remove things that are distracting in the background or some blemish removal, but I don't do extensive Photoshop work like altering body shapes or removing pieces of clothing that stick out like bra straps for example.
That's why I recommend wearing things that make you feel good!
When will I receive the digital photos from our shoot?
The high-resolution digital images will be delivered to you in a private gallery for viewing, downloading and sharing.
The gallery will be ready within 2 weeks of our session together. If you'd like to get them delivered sooner, We have an option for expedited delivery, just let us know and we'll share more details.
Will I be getting RAW files after the shoot?
I don't deliver RAW files. Part of what I do and the value of working with me is the editing process.
I personally select and carefully edit each image that is delivered. RAW files are unfinished work, much like the ingredients of a recipe.
What you will receive however, is a beautiful gallery of edited photos in both color and black & white that are ready to download, print, share and enjoy.
How do you choose which images to share with me?
I carefully look at and select each and every image. I look to build a complete story of you and your family. These images represent me as an artist and your family. I guarantee a minimum of 50 shots per hour, but in reality you get many many more. Know that I am very generous and don't hold back any images from you that I feel you'd enjoy having!
Do I have to order prints through your website?
No, not necessarily. The images you will be downloading will be high resolution allowing you to print up to large poster sizes.
Having said that, I do not recommend you get prints at local and convenient stores where you live based on their price.
After all the time and effort we've put into producing these together, I recommend you use a professional lab to ensure they look their best. The lab that I work with is guaranteed to produce the results you'd expect.
What if it rains?
It doesn't really rain that often in Orange County, but if it does, it doesn't last that long, and if anything it leaves us with more dramatic skies and clouds.
My take is it'll be a perfect opportunity to take even more original shots of you and your family.
What is your cancellation policy?
Due to the unique nature of photography, all sales are final and no refunds are issued.
A 50% retainer is required to hold your session date. If cancelled, the retainer is lost.
You can request a reschedule with at least 7 days notice. Please note that there are only 2 reschedules per booking.
